Nerd Smackdown: Japanese Vs. American Cartoons

This hilarious comic strip asks and answers an important question. Are there people in Japan who are as angrily obsessed with American cartoons as some U.S. fans are with anime? Answer: Probably not. We love how in six months, the fan has gotten zits, a pony tail and gross chin hair. Curse you, anime American cartoons!!!

At the risk of generalizing, (and that’s a risk we’re willing to take) we think that there are obsessive cartoon fans on both sides of the globe, but we tend to think of Japanese fans as cute girls who adorably freak out over the cast of “Twilight,” whereas America’s poster-fanboy is this fellow right here:
