If being geeky means obsessing over something, then spending 1,500 hours moving and photographing LEGO bricks ought to get you into the Geek Guinness Book of Records. This terrific music video from the Swedish band Rymdreglages (called “8-Bit Trip”) was posted just a few days ago on YouTube and has already received almost half a million hits. The LEGO stop-motion, the detail and the chiptune music create a viral whirlpool of awesome.
This is not the first funny/arty video game music video we’ve come across, but all the karate makes it our favorite (so far). Besides the karate (and there’s a lot of karate) how amazing is a self-building Nintendo pyramid? Answer: Very amazing!
