If you’re a nerd, you’re the guy/gal everybody bugs for computer tech support. That sucks. “Why does my monitor have all these weird colors on it?” “I tried to find the Google and now I’m at the 404. Why?” “I beat the crap out of my computer, and now it’s broken. HELP ME!” Even if you’re not a techie, geeks get these questions all the time just for having cool, thick glasses. It’s our burden.
Well, thanks to one of the best stick-figure webcomics on the interwebs, XKCD, you don’t have to do free tech support for clueless friends and family anymore. The chart explains eloquently that you don’t know what’s wrong either, and that they can do computer guesswork for themselves. After all, teach a man to fish, and he’ll be able to “get this damn box to click off” on his own. In fact, they should just package this comic with computers, to save us all a lot of trouble.
