We’re a big fans of webcomics, but like with YouTube videos, for every good one out there you’ll find thousands of cringe-inducing ones. For example, there are way too many webcomics drawn with simple stick-figures (by that I mean, figures drawn with very limited detail, often with lines for arms and legs), but there are some genuine gems worth Google Reading. Here are six excellent examples of stick-figure webcomics done right:
6. “LegoRobot”
“LegoRobot” has the 4chan/MS Paint comic sensibility down, but the lack of regular updates makes me so angry… FFFFFFFUUUUUUU–

5. “Murray The Nut”
You know how people say something is “sick and twisted,” but it’s really not. “Murray The Nut” is actually sick and twisted.

4. “Buttersafe”
In addition to being funny, Buttersafe also has eye-pleasing art. It’s got the best of both worlds, as Hannah Montana is so fond of saying.

3. “chainsawsuit”
It seems like “chainsawsuit” is drawn by a very talented artist who has a gun to his head and is told to “work faster!” That’s probably why it’s so great.

2. “XKCD”
I might not always understand “XKCD,” but I always enjoy it. If you’re a programmer, engineer or science nerd, this comic is mandatory reading.

1. “Cyanide and Happiness”
If I had to pick one webcomic that I thought everyone on the internet could agree on, it’d be “Cyanide and Happiness.” This is stick-figure webcomicry at its best.
