When he’s not fighting Green Goblin, or giant Japanese robots, Spider-Man is out busting pervs! The sex-craved bloggers at Whip It Out dug up this old comic book PSA featuring Spidey and The Power Pack, Marvel’s preteen superteam from the 80s. Together, this older man and his young companions give kids tips on avoiding sexual abuse:
5. “Your body belongs to you, and you have a right to decide how and when anyone touches you.”
Sonic the Hedgehog agrees.
4. “If somebody tries to touch you in ways that don’t feel good or seem right, say no!“
Is there anything that saying no can’t fix?
3. “And be sure to tell somebody, too!”
2. “And don’t forget, if the first person you tell doesn’t believe you, keep telling until you find someone who does!”
Also, if the first person you tell seems to be enjoying the story, that’s a good sign you need to move on.
