First of all, this is a real thing. It’s not a viral video spoof or anything like that. In 1993, Ron Jeremy was cast in Super Hornio Bros, a porno “parody” of the Mario Bros feature film, in which two Italian dudes are sucked into the world inside an old school computer, where they have to rescue a princess from King Pooper (yes, King Pooper) and wear the trademark red and green overalls.
Super Hornio Bros and the big screen Super Mario Bros have two things in common: they’re both terrible, but they both have well-cast leads. Bob Hoskins was the perfect choice to play the tubby, determined plumber in the movie, whereas Ron Jeremy has exactly the right look (and porno star power) to ‘carry’ the triple-X version. Let me reiterate, however, that both versions are terrible.
