A Nasty AOL/Time Warner Breakup?

Thursday April 30, 2009 9:25 AM

Jeez, Louise! It’s about freaking time! It looks like AOL and Time Warner will part ways.

The TW/AOL board isn’t offering specifics, according to this week’s NY Times article, but the reports indicate a breakup is imminent.

According to word on the street, the merger of Time Warner and AOL cost shareholders $100 Billion. Gee, we wonder why? Aren’t lots of people interested in paying for late 90’s internet services? Yesterday’s annoying technology, today!

One hundred billion dollars. You might think it’s hard to make that much money disappear, but in reality, all you need to do is play this video one hundred billion times, and you could accomplish the same feat.
